Within the scope of the AGRICOOP project, reference number BSB01005, supported under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, for which the EU Presidency is the National Authority, Stakeholder Meeting of BSU was held.
Within the scope of the “Cooperation through Tech-Based Practices to Struggle Invasive Species and Climate Change for a Sustainable and Resilient Agriculture (AGRICOOP)” project, reference number BSB01005, supported under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, for which the EU Presidency is the National Authority, Stakeholder Meeting of BSU was held.
On 27 February 2026, BSU (PP3) conducted the first stakeholder consultation meeting within the AGRICOOP Project to present the project concept, objectives, and expected outcomes, and to discuss regional challenges related to climate change and invasive pests in Adjara and Western Georgia. Participants included representatives of the Supreme Council of Ajara, Batumi City Hall, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Forestry Agency, Protected Areas, the Agro-Industrial Complex, the Food Safety Service, Batumi Boulevard, and the Greening/Landscaping Service, as well as academic staff, agronomists, and farmers.
