The AGRICOOP Project is a transnational collaboration initiative aimed at developing technology-based solutions to counter the negative impacts of climate change and invasive alien species on agricultural production. Bringing together partners from Turkey, Bulgaria, and Georgia, the project is working collaboratively to identify and monitor invasive species and develop effective control methods.<\/p>

Through the establishment of climate and pest monitoring stations, the development of the MAPPEST mobile application, and the implementation of training activities, the project aims to raise farmers\u2019 awareness and support sustainable agricultural practices.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    The overall objective of the AGRICOOP Project is to support sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture in the Black Sea Basin through the following measures:<\/p>

    • To improve the quality and productivity of agricultural products by identifying invasive alien species (IAS) and developing effective control methods<\/li>
    • To develop joint solutions and pilot initiatives to address environmental hazards in the affected and vulnerable regions of the Black Sea Basin<\/li>
    • To facilitate the exchange of information and cooperation among stakeholders in the agricultural ecosystem<\/li>
    • Integrate state-of-the-art systems for use by target groups.<\/li>
